5th Annual Kurt Caselli Ride Day, KTM Press Launch and Husqvarna Press Launch

FMF has had a busy few days. On Saturday December 2, 2017, Glen Helen hosted the 5th Annual Kurt Caselli Memorial Ride Day. The turn out was great, and even bigger than previous years. With over 22 vendors from some of the biggest brands in the sport, to the hundreds of people that showed up and waited in line to get in, Glen Helen was packed to say the least. With this being the first year of the new Camp Caselli feature, where we invited people attending to bring their camper or RV and stay the night, Glen Helen was filled by the time the sun set on Saturday. With night festivities generously planned by the Kurt Caselli Foundation, there was a massive bon-fire, a giant inflatable movie screen and even a live band there to play for all of those who stayed the night. It’s safe to say this year has been the most successful Kurt Caselli Ride Day and it’s great to see this event only gain more attention and grow in attendance each year.

Monday morning the FMF team headed out to Murrieta CA to see the unveling of the brand new 2018.5 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition and the announcement of the 2018 KTM Supercross riders. We were introduced to the 2018 Factory Red Bull KTM team, the Rocky Mountain ATV MC KTM Team as well the 250 efforts of the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM Team. We were all granted access to a private track behind KTM headquarters to see Marvin Musquin, Broc Tickle, Blake Baggett, Shane McElrath and Alex Martin ride a few laps for photos and stop for a few interviews.

On Wednesday we headed to Los Angeles for the Husqvarna Press launch in the tallest place you can be in L.A. We were greeted to all the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing riders being annouced as well as the all the new 2018 Husqvarna FC450 Rockstar Edition being shown to the public for the first time. The six riders for theĀ 2018 season Jason Anderson, Dean Wilson, Zach Osborne, Mitchell Harrison, and Michael Mosiman sat down for a few quick words about the upcoming season and a Q&A.
